Blood vessels are viewed using X-rays through an imaging test called angiography. The report so obtained with X-ray impressions is called an angiogram. Arteries or veins in different parts of the body like the brain, heart, abdomen, and legs when gets blocked, narrowed, enlarged, or malformed is checked through a test called angiography. A liquid dye is injected into the vessels through a thin, flexible tube called a catheter.
